Job Description
The Waitstaff is responsible for delivering high-quality food and beverage service to guests within a fast-paced and clean dining environment. The role serves as a brand ambassador, ensuring that all guests are attended to promptly and accurately according to established service standards. Beyond technical service, the Waitstaff plays a key role in driving sales through expert menu knowledge and suggestive selling, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Present menu options to guests and provide personalized recommendations to drive suggestive selling
- Accurately record food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery according to ticket specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe dining area to ensure a comfortable environment for all customers
- Process guest bills promptly and handle various payment methods using Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure order accuracy and special dietary requests are met
- Address guest needs proactively and resolve any service issues with a result-oriented approach
- Support team members during peak hours to maintain efficient service flow
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in a customer-oriented service environment
- Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems for order management and billing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and manage long shifts in a high-volume setting
- Demonstrated skills in suggestive selling and upselling techniques
- Strong organizational and planning skills with a focus on team collaboration
