Overview

Marriott is seeking a Kitchen Support Expert to play a vital role in supporting hotel functions across the kitchen, food and beverage, and employee dining departments. This position is central to the hotel’s administrative efficiency, involving high-level data management, document preparation, and cross-departmental coordination. The ideal candidate will maintain the professional standards expected of a luxury environment while ensuring that all backend kitchen records and business transactions are meticulously organized.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update computer databases with kitchen-related information and records.
  • Prepare professional correspondence, memos, and reports using MS Office and presentation software.
  • Establish and maintain robust digital and paper-based filing systems for kitchen operations.
  • Compile and sort records of office activities and business transactions for the culinary team.
  • Adhere to all safety and security policies, reporting maintenance needs or unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Ensure personal appearance reflects the Marriott brand’s professional standards.
  • Foster positive working relationships across the Food & Beverage and Kitchen departments.
  • Handle physical tasks including lifting objects up to 25 pounds and moving across various hotel sections.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–4 years of experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Preference: Prior experience in a 4-star or 5-star luxury hotel environment is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Proficiency in database management and standard office equipment.
