Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and steward a coherent Pharo Schools East Africa brand aligned with the Foundation’s education mission and values.
  • Define and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all schools and communication channels.
  • Lead development of high-quality content showcasing teaching quality, student outcomes, and community impact.
  • Design and implement scalable marketing frameworks aligned with enrolment and growth targets.
  • Lead network-wide enrolment and marketing campaigns in collaboration with school leadership.
  • Strengthen the full parent enrolment journey from inquiry to onboarding and retention.
  • Oversee internal and external communications including websites, social media, newsletters, and reports.
  • Build capacity of school-based marketing teams through structured frameworks, tools, and training.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor positioning, and enrolment data to inform strategy.
  • Drive innovative, data-driven brand and business development initiatives across regions.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or related field (Master’s degree advantageous).
  • 5–8+ years’ experience in marketing, communications, or sales with leadership responsibility.
  • Proven experience building integrated marketing strategies that drive growth and brand reputation.
  • Demonstrated success in enrolment growth or customer acquisition.
  • Experience working within African markets.
  • Ability to build and scale brands in complex, resource-constrained environments.
