Technical Advisor, Emergency Health

Job Description

The Technical Advisor plays a critical role in shaping emergency health responses by providing epidemiological insights and strengthening data-driven decision-making. The position supports global and country teams by improving systems, tools, and methodologies used in health emergencies, while also contributing to partnerships and program development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide epidemiological analysis and guidance during health emergencies
  • Support development and standardization of M&E systems and tools
  • Coordinate data collection, analysis, and knowledge management
  • Maintain and improve emergency response tools and resources
  • Support partnerships through technical assistance and training
  • Contribute to proposal development and grant management
  • Deploy to support emergency responses when required
  • Promote collaboration across teams and stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health or related field
  • Master’s degree in public health or epidemiology preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in health program implementation
  • Experience in humanitarian or emergency settings
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Ability to work across diverse teams and environments
