Overview

A vacancy exists for a Biology and Chemistry Teacher to cover Key Stages 3 through 5 at Woodcreek School. This role requires a strong scientific background and the ability to prepare students for high-stakes Cambridge examinations. Beyond the lab, you will be a key player in the school’s pastoral care initiatives and will help drive the scientific curiosity of students through various extra-curricular projects.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Instruction: Teach Biology and Chemistry across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 (IGCSE and A-Level).
• Lab Management: Ensure safety protocols are followed during practical experiments and demonstrations.
• Safeguarding: Maintain a passionate commitment to child safeguarding and student protection.
• Futuristic Vision: Contribute to the development of the school’s innovative and modern science department.

Qualifications

• Academic: Minimum of a Bachelor of Education in Science.
• Professional: Must be TSC Certified.
• Experience: At least 5 years of teaching experience in the British National Curriculum.
• Requirement: Must have current experience in a Cambridge Curriculum International School.
