Job Description

The Ultimate Banking Relationship Manager provides high-touch, personalized service to High Net Worth (HNW) clients to drive loyalty and maximize profitable contributions. This role combines financial advisory with aggressive business development, focusing on the growth of the Ultimate Banking customer base. The manager is responsible for identifying client needs, cross-selling the bank’s full suite of products, and ensuring that all sales activities comply with ethical standards and regulatory frameworks like KYC and AML.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HNW clients with personalized financial needs analysis and tailored solutions.
  • Drive the full-service bank agenda by ensuring clients are aware of all Ultimate Banking privileges.
  • Source new business from personal and HNW contacts through active marketing and referrals.
  • Achieve revenue goals, sales targets, and portfolio growth across all bank products.
  • Monitor allocated portfolios closely and authorize payments within approved limits.
  • Manage overdrawn accounts and overdue loans to ensure regularization.
  • Conduct branch product training and participate in SME/Institutional marketing calls.
  • Adhere strictly to KYC, AML, and ethical selling standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a financial services institution.
  • Professional certifications: Retail Banking Associate (RBA UK) or CISI Certified Level 1 is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of banking operations, audit standards, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills with an “extrovert/amiable” personality.
