Job Description

The Senior Rapid Response Officer will coordinate emergency preparedness and outbreak response activities, ensuring timely and effective interventions. The role focuses on technical oversight, program implementation, and collaboration with stakeholders to manage public health emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of emergency preparedness and response activities
• Coordinate outbreak response planning and execution
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams
• Support development of response tools and materials
• Monitor and evaluate response interventions
• Prepare reports and documentation for stakeholders
• Support data analysis and decision-making processes
• Coordinate field activities and ensure compliance with standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in public health or related field
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in emergency response programs
• Experience in outbreak preparedness and response
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
