Production Planning & Control (PPC) Manager

Overview

The PPC Manager oversees the entire production engine, ensuring that throughput targets and resource allocations align with global business objectives. Acting as the link between demand planning and factory operations, the manager ensures that inventory plans are translated into executable, cost-effective schedules.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall production planning and scheduling process for the factory.
• Manage and mentor the Production Scheduling Manager and Production Manager to ensure alignment.
• Monitor factory-level KPIs including throughput vs. target, cost per unit, and line efficiency.
• Implement process improvements to reduce bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization.
• Collaborate with Inventory Planning and Quality teams to resolve operational constraints.
• Act as the primary escalation point for all major production execution challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in factory operations, with 5 years in a leadership role.
• Deep expertise in ERP/MRP systems and capacity planning.
• Experience in sheet metal manufacturing or appliance production is highly preferred.
