Marketing & Communications Manager
Overview
WTS Energy is seeking a strategic Marketing & Communications Manager to lead brand growth within the water and environmental technology sector. This role requires a unique blend of creative storytelling and technical acumen, focusing on translating complex engineering data into compelling narratives for B2B audiences. You will lead proposal writing, manage digital platforms, and support fundraising efforts through high-impact communications aimed at impact investors and development finance institutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a marketing strategy aligned with growth objectives in the green-tech sector.
- Create technically informed content including white papers, case studies, and newsletters.
- Lead the production of technical bids, client proposals, and tender submissions in collaboration with engineers.
- Manage corporate social media channels and the company website, ensuring mission-aligned messaging.
- Draft compelling grant applications and impact reports for green bonds and sustainability funding.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and coordinate joint marketing with government partners.
- Maintain a reusable library of company credentials, project summaries, and technical descriptions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Environmental Studies, or Business.
- 4–7 years of experience in B2B marketing or communications.
- Proven experience in proposal writing or grant applications within a technical/scientific context.
- Proficiency in social media management, website CMS, and design tools like Canva or Adobe Suite.
- Strong technical curiosity with the ability to engage with engineering concepts and data.
