Food & Beverage Manager

Role Overview

The Food & Beverage Manager oversees menu planning, culinary standards, catering operations, and dining experience within the school. The role ensures high-quality, nutritious meals aligned with international school standards while maintaining operational efficiency, cost control, regulatory compliance, and sustainability practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and refresh balanced menus aligned with nutritional standards
  • Ensure high culinary standards, food safety, and hygiene compliance
  • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service quality
  • Lead and develop kitchen and catering teams
  • Manage budgets, procurement, inventory, and cost control initiatives
  • Support school events, cultural days, and special functions
  • Gather and analyze feedback to improve dining services
  • Maintain compliance with health regulations and inspection requirements
  • Promote sustainability initiatives including waste reduction

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or related field
  • Minimum seven years’ experience in food and beverage management
  • At least three years in a school or high-end hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of event catering and food service operations
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Understanding of budgeting and cost control practices
