Food & Beverage Manager
Role Overview
The Food & Beverage Manager oversees menu planning, culinary standards, catering operations, and dining experience within the school. The role ensures high-quality, nutritious meals aligned with international school standards while maintaining operational efficiency, cost control, regulatory compliance, and sustainability practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and refresh balanced menus aligned with nutritional standards
- Ensure high culinary standards, food safety, and hygiene compliance
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service quality
- Lead and develop kitchen and catering teams
- Manage budgets, procurement, inventory, and cost control initiatives
- Support school events, cultural days, and special functions
- Gather and analyze feedback to improve dining services
- Maintain compliance with health regulations and inspection requirements
- Promote sustainability initiatives including waste reduction
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or related field
- Minimum seven years’ experience in food and beverage management
- At least three years in a school or high-end hospitality environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of event catering and food service operations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Understanding of budgeting and cost control practices
