Director, Academic and Student Affairs
Job Description
The Director leads academic planning and student affairs, ensuring programs meet quality standards while supporting student success. The role integrates academic policy, curriculum development, and staff management into a cohesive system.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee academic programs, policies, and curriculum development
- Coordinate academic calendar and training schedules
- Monitor academic performance and staff productivity
- Support research, seminars, and professional development
- Manage departmental planning and budgeting
- Ensure compliance with academic quality standards
- Supervise student welfare and support services
- Coordinate reporting and performance management
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in academic leadership
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in relevant disciplines
- Professional membership and pedagogy qualification
- TVETA registration
- Leadership training certification
- Strong academic and administrative leadership skills
