Overview

Baker Hughes is seeking a Completions Tubular Running Services (TRS) Crew Member to support well construction activities. This role is at the heart of rig operations, requiring the safe operation of mechanical and hydraulic TRS equipment. You will be responsible for rig-up and rig-down activities, equipment troubleshooting, and ensuring the safe handling of casing and tubing in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate TRS equipment such as power tongs, elevators, slips, spiders, and torque-turn systems safely.
• Assist with the rig-up and rig-down of TRS equipment and tubular handling tools.
• Communicate effectively with drill floor operators, clients, and subcontractors to ensure coordinated operations.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, inspections, and minor maintenance of equipment before and after operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety requirements and participate in rig safety meetings.
• Complete job documentation and activity reports as instructed.

Qualifications

• Education: Two-year technical degree (preferred) or equivalent technical training and field experience.
• Aptitude: Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate pneumatic and hydraulic tools.
• Experience: Prior field experience in TRS or drilling-related operations is highly preferred.
• Requirements: Ability to travel for onshore/offshore assignments and work variable schedules (on-call/shift-based).
