Overview

SABIS International School is seeking a Student Supervisor to maintain a safe, orderly, and disciplined environment that maximizes student learning. This role involves constant monitoring of school premises, managing student transitions between classes, and enforcing the school’s Code of Honor. The supervisor acts as a mentor to students while ensuring that administrative reporting via the SABIS School Management System is accurate and timely.

Responsibilities

• Facility Oversight: Conduct daily checks of classrooms, corridors, and bathrooms to ensure cleanliness and safety before students arrive.
• Order Management: Coordinate student line-ups during recess with SLO prefects and manage travel time between classes to minimize instructional time loss.
• Discipline & Safety: Mentor students on the importance of discipline, maintain a quiet environment during class transitions, and proactively prevent bullying or fighting.
• Administrative Reporting: Accurately enter attendance data and student infractions into the SSMS/SIS and prepare daily reports for management regarding teacher observations and student behavior.
• Parental Communication: Contact and follow up with parents regarding student absences and behavioral concerns.
• Supervision Duties: Oversee students during recess and in the exam hall; ensure all students safely board their allocated buses after school hours.
• Initiative: Enforce safety regulations and take charge during school activities or when behavioral issues arise.
