Showroom Sales Representative
Job Description
The Showroom Sales Representative is responsible for engaging clients and driving sales for premium mouldings, wall finishes, and architectural solutions. This role requires the ability to interpret architectural drawings to provide technical product advice to homeowners, architects, and contractors. The representative manages the full sales cycle—from consultation and quotation to after-sales support—while ensuring that showroom targets and revenue goals are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to walk-in and scheduled clients, understanding their design and budget requirements.
- Recommend suitable decorative architectural solutions and prepare detailed quotations.
- Interpret architectural and interior drawings to advise on material selection and finishes.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with interior designers, architects, and contractors.
- Assist clients in developing finish schedules and material product combinations.
- Coordinate with the QS and stores teams for order processing and timely deliveries.
- Provide technical guidance on product installation and after-sales support.
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and project specifications.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in interior finishes or architectural product sales.
- Proven ability to read and interpret complex architectural/interior drawings.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Comfort working in a performance-driven role with set sales targets.
