Member, County Public Service Board

Overview

Board Members are responsible for making critical decisions regarding human resource management within the county. They ensure that the County Public Service operates with integrity and in accordance with the constitutional principles of Articles 10 and 232.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly attend and participate in board and committee meetings.
  • Review and make final decisions on requests, reports, and annual plans presented to the board.
  • Promote constitutional values and principles within the County Public Service.
  • Perform duties as outlined in Section 59 of the County Government Act.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by the Chairperson.

Qualifications

  • Be a Kenyan Citizen with at least a first degree from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience.
  • Must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution on Leadership and Integrity.
  • Experience in HR Management or Public Administration is an added advantage.

  • Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)

  • Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)

  • Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)

  • Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) (Self-Declaration Form)

  • Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
