Job Description

The Hazardous Cargo Inspector / Certifier will oversee handling, storage, and certification of hazardous materials and waste. The role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and safe management of hazardous operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage hazardous material and waste operations
• Conduct training for personnel handling hazardous materials
• Oversee storage, transportation, and disposal processes
• Certify hazardous cargo shipments
• Maintain documentation and compliance records
• Conduct inspections and audits
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hazardous materials management
• Certification in hazardous cargo inspection and handling
• Knowledge of DGFGS and related regulations
• Experience operating hazardous material facilities
• Strong analytical and compliance skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
