Job Description
The 3PL Management (Forwarding Courier) role focuses on the efficient oversight of forward-moving transactions and 3PL provider performance. The officer is responsible for ensuring on-time deliveries, analyzing delivery data, and managing the documentation for lost or damaged items in transit. By initiating weekly progress monitoring and clearing undelivered tasks, the officer ensures a high standard of service for consumers. The role requires a strategic approach to improving forward logistics and resolving provider-level conflicts.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage forward logistics transactions to ensure on-time courier delivery.
- Record and update critical data regarding items lost or damaged during transit.
- Initiate and lead weekly performance monitoring meetings with 3PL providers.
- Resolve “abnormal” undelivered tasks within 3 days of assignment.
- Analyze forward service metrics to provide solutions for improving customer experience.
- Manage 3PL relationships, including setting clear performance expectations and resolving conflicts.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in any related field.
- Strong understanding of logistics, transportation, and regional delivery routes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage 3PL providers through feedback and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Added Advantage: Experience in forwarding logistics or supply chain management.
