Transfer Driver at Africa Safari Trips

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to and from destinations while ensuring punctual pick-up and drop-off.
• Deliver excellent customer service, including assisting with luggage and maintaining professionalism.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, conduct routine inspections, and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure all vehicle documentation is valid and comply with traffic and safety regulations.
• Monitor and control vehicle-related costs, including fuel usage and maintenance records.
• Communicate effectively with the transport office and stay informed on routes and travel conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma
• Valid Drivers License (PSV) and TRA license
• 3-5 Years of proven experience as a professional driver, ideally in the tours and travel or hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, defensive driving techniques, and basic first aid.
• Practical experience in vehicle inspection, maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Good knowledge of Kenya’s geography, history, and wildlife, with the ability to engage and inform clients effectively.
