Role Overview

The Security Supervisor oversees frontline security operations within the hotel, ensuring continuous protection of guests, employees, and property. The role focuses on patrol management, incident response, staff supervision, and operational reporting. The supervisor acts as the first point of control during security or safety incidents and ensures that systems, procedures, and personnel function in line with hotel standards and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily security patrols, surveillance, and access control
• Assign duties, schedules, and patrol routes to security staff
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed security reports
• Ensure all security and fire systems are operational
• Train, coach, and evaluate security team members
• Conduct night audits, key control checks, and room inspections
• Coordinate with management on safety and compliance matters

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Criminology or related field
• Valid security certification or license
• Strong communication skills in English
• Additional language skills are an advantage
