Job Description
ManPower Services is seeking a highly capable Security Supervisor to oversee and manage security operations at its head office and manufacturing facility in Nairobi. This critical industrial security job in Kenya requires Proven experience (5+ years) as a Security Supervisor, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. The Supervisor will lead the security team, enforce security policies, manage surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms), conduct regular risk assessments/audits, and coordinate with Factory management, HR, and SHE (Safety Health & Environment) teams to protect personnel and company assets against internal and external threats.

Role Overview
The Security Supervisor provides hands-on management and strategic oversight of the facility’s security apparatus. Key duties include developing and enforcing policies specific to manufacturing operations (access control, perimeter security), leading and training the security guard team, implementing and maintaining surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms), managing security budgets and equipment investments, and investigating all security incidents, breaches, or accidents with detailed reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Policy & Enforcement: Develop and enforce security policies and procedures specific to manufacturing operations, including access control and visitor management.
- Security Monitoring: Monitor and secure entry/exit points, warehouses, production areas, and restricted zones.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of security guards and supervisors, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Systems Management: Implement and maintain surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms, motion detectors) and ensure they are fully operational.
- Risk & Audits: Conduct regular risk assessments, security audits, and emergency response drills.
- Investigation & Reporting: Investigate security incidents, breaches, or accidents and report findings with corrective recommendations.
- Collaboration & Liaison: Collaborate with Factory management, HR, and SHE teams; liaise with law enforcement and external security providers.
- Budget & Compliance: Maintain and manage security budgets; ensure compliance with safety regulations and corporate security standards.
Qualifications & other attributes
- Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) as a Security Supervisor, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Education: Degree / Diploma in criminal justice, public administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of physical security systems, facility protection strategies, and access control technologies.
