Practice Range Attendant Job – Eagle HR Consultants Kenya

Eagle HR Consultants is looking for a Practice Range Attendant to join a golf operation in Nairobi. You will be responsible for the daily activities at the driving range, ensuring that members and guests have a safe and pleasant environment for practice. This role involves physical activity and requires someone who can work flexible hours, including weekends.

Role Overview

You will manage the distribution and collection of golf balls, supervise the practice tee area, and ensure that the range equipment and mats are well-maintained. The role also includes maintaining hygiene standards by cleaning the water dispenser area and reporting any damaged equipment or loss of property.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect tickets, distribute balls, and pick up golf balls using the range ball picker.
• Ensure no small children are on the tee area unsupervised and that players use appropriate clubs.
• Clean and inspect the range area, rotate mats, and ensure tees are in good condition.
• Retrieve stranded golf carts and refill water buckets at the range.
• Report on the number of valid or damaged balls and ensure the range course is not damaged.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• KCSE certificate or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of proven experience in golf operations.
• Excellent customer care abilities and general knowledge of the game of golf.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays and a professional attitude.
