Job Description
The Network Engineer plays a central role in maintaining stable and high-performing network environments. The position focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving network infrastructure while ensuring service availability and meeting operational SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds and Zabbix
- Respond to alerts, outages, and incidents within defined SLAs
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems
- Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, MPLS, and SD-WAN environments
- Coordinate with vendors and field technicians during escalations
- Maintain network documentation and operational reports
- Support system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 1 year experience in network operations or NOC environments
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and VLANs
- Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, or similar technologies
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and packet analysis
- Certifications such as CCNA or equivalent are an advantage
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
