Job Description

The Frontend Developer is responsible for building and maintaining responsive, high-performance user interfaces for web applications at Kwikbet. The role focuses on translating UI/UX designs into functional interfaces while ensuring performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility. The position works closely with backend developers and designers in an on-site development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement responsive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies
• Translate UI/UX designs into functional, user-facing components
• Optimise web applications for performance and scalability
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs
• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers on feature implementation
• Maintain clean, readable, and well-documented codebases
• Participate in code reviews and development discussions

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of three years’ professional experience as a Frontend Developer
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Advanced experience with React and Next.js
• Solid working knowledge of TypeScript
• Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs
• Familiarity with UI libraries such as Material UI or shadcn/ui
• Working knowledge of Git and version control workflows
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is an advantage
