Overview
Old Mutual is seeking energetic Financial Advisors to build meaningful careers in insurance and investment advisory. This is a relationship-driven role where you go beyond surface-level sales to understand a client’s life goals and priorities. You will be responsible for simplifying complex financial concepts and recommending practical, relevant solutions that help everyday people make better money decisions while building a growing portfolio of trusted clients.
Responsibilities
- Hold meaningful conversations with clients to uncover their financial priorities, income, and lifestyle goals.
- Recommend tailored investment and insurance solutions aligned with specific client objectives.
- Break down complex financial concepts into simple, actionable insights for clients.
- Actively build a client pipeline through personal initiative, networking, and referrals.
- Maintain long-term relationships by reviewing client progress and supporting them through various life stages.
- Ensure all interactions and documentation comply with ethical and industry standards.
- Continuously stay updated on market trends and new financial products to remain a credible advisor.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of experience in a customer-facing or sales environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others.
- A clear, demonstrable interest in building a long-term career in financial services.
- Ownership mindset with the resilience to work in a performance-driven, target-oriented environment.
