Assistant Security Manager
Role Overview
The Assistant Security Manager supports the day-to-day leadership of hotel security operations, ensuring guest safety, staff security, and asset protection across the property. The role combines operational supervision, incident management, emergency preparedness, and compliance with Accor standards and local regulations. The position requires strong coordination skills, calm decision-making, and the ability to manage security teams in a hospitality environment where discretion and service quality are critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage security staffing schedules and attendance
- Maintain incident, complaint, and occurrence records for follow-up
- Respond to and resolve guest safety concerns and complaints
- Enforce hotel security policies and regulatory requirements
- Support emergency planning, drills, and staff safety training
- Identify, report, and follow up on safety hazards and risks
- Assist in departmental budgeting and resource planning
Qualifications
- Degree in Criminology or related field
- Certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Fire Fighting
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar security role
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
