Role Overview 🎯

The Senior Growth Marketing Manager will be responsible for bridging strategic goals with tactical execution. This involves designing end-to-end growth experiments across multiple channels, owning campaign strategy and performance, and translating proprietary customer data into scalable, profitable playbooks. The mission is to ensure every campaign is smarter, faster, and more profitable than the last, maximizing ROI and customer lifetime value.

Key Responsibilities 🔑

  • Design and execute structured growth experiments to identify friction points and improve customer acquisition, activation, and retention.
  • Develop comprehensive, cross-channel campaign plans (WhatsApp, SMS, Telesales) aligned with ambitious growth goals.
  • Track, analyze, and interpret dashboard data to spot new opportunities and optimize funnel performance.
  • Translate deep data insights (from millions of transactions) into scalable marketing strategies that maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Data, and Telesales teams to align messaging, offers, and timing.
  • Manage and utilize the Growth Marketing Tech Stack, including omnichannel engagement platforms like CleverTap/Braze, GA4, and Amplitude.
  • Ensure all experiments connect effectively with real customer behavior across diverse African markets.
  • Build and implement repeatable playbooks to scale successful tests across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience 🎓

  • Experience: A minimum of 5–8+ years of proven experience in Growth, Product Marketing, or Lifecycle/Performance roles.
  • Industry Background: Ideally experience at a fintech, telco, e-commerce, or subscription company, with a bonus for emerging markets experience (e.g., pay-as-you-go models).
  • Expertise: Proven experience leading growth initiatives end-to-end (strategy → experiment → scale).
  • Tools: Strong familiarity with omnichannel engagement tools like CleverTap/Braze, GA4, Amplitude, or similar platforms.
  • Skills: Ability to bridge creative strategy with strong analytical rigor to drive measurable business outcomes.
