Role Overview

The Relationship Officer will manage customer relationships, grow branch sales, and ensure sustainable business development. The role focuses on delivering superior banking experiences, achieving sales targets, and strengthening long-term client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client portfolios to achieve sales, revenue, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for the branch.
  • Cross-sell bank products and services to deepen customer relationships.
  • Support loan origination, portfolio monitoring, and credit quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with CBK and Sidian Bank’s credit and AML policies.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor tracking for business growth.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and ensure compliance with KYC procedures.
  • Provide timely reports on sales performance and client engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline.
  • At least 4 years of experience in retail or SME banking.
  • Strong knowledge of bank products and credit processes.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
  • Good understanding of banking compliance and CBK regulations.
  • Diploma in Banking (AKIB) will be an added advantage.
