Job Description

The Regional Grant Finance Capacity Building Specialist is responsible for designing and delivering grant management tools, training programmes, and capacity-strengthening resources across the region. The role focuses on simplifying complex donor regulations, strengthening compliance, and building sustainable grant finance capacity among World Vision staff and partners. The position works closely with subject matter experts and supports grant acquisition, management, and compliance across diverse donor portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop grant management tools, training materials, and learning resources
• Translate complex donor regulations into practical, user-friendly toolkits
• Conduct needs assessments and define learning objectives with subject matter experts
• Facilitate in-person, virtual, and hybrid trainings on grants finance and compliance
• Provide coaching and mentoring to grant and partner staff
• Support capacity strengthening initiatives for regional, national, and field offices
• Maintain and manage digital learning platforms and content repositories
• Participate in organizational meetings, retreats, and assigned projects
• Support continuous improvement of grant acquisition and compliance practices

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• 5–7 years’ experience in public or private grants, preferably within an international NGO
• Proven experience in grants finance, compliance, and capacity building
• Strong training, mentoring, and facilitation skills
• Ability to simplify complex technical information
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% of the time
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and French
• Master’s degree or professional certification in grants management is an added advantage
• Experience with multilateral donors and learning tools is desirable
