Reeds Africa Consult is recruiting a Payroll Senior for a client in Nairobi. This role is responsible for the end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients, ensuring that every cycle is completed accurately and in full compliance with Kenyan statutory laws. You will be the day-to-day contact for payroll queries and audits.

Role Overview

The Payroll Senior reviews all inputs—from overtime to adjustments—to process payroll accurately. You will manage the filing of statutory deductions like PAYE and NSSF through iTax and maintain secure, confidential records for all clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll for multiple clients within set timelines.
• Calculate and file deductions including NSSF, SHA, NITA, and Housing Levy.
• Prepare and submit returns via the KRA iTax platform.
• Maintain system integrity and secure payroll data records.
• Support payroll audits and provide periodic summaries for client review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR.
• CPA or ACCA qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant payroll experience, preferably in a professional services firm.
• High attention to detail and excellent client communication skills.
