Credit Analyst Job at Mogo Finance Kenya

Mogo Finance is looking for a Credit Analyst in Nairobi to support their loan appraisal processes. You will be responsible for authenticating customer documentation and ensuring that all credit applications comply with the company’s rules and risk management policies. This role focuses heavily on boda boda credit applications and maintaining a fast turnaround for customer feedback.

Role Overview

The analyst appraises customer loan applications to determine financial feasibility and makes recommendations to the Credit Committee. You will also communicate policy changes to the sales team and ensure that loan facilities are released on time once approved.

Key Responsibilities

• Authenticate documentation and ensure compliance with credit procedures.
• Appraise customer applications and provide timely feedback on their status.
• Participate actively in the Credit Committee to evaluate loan requests.
• Analyze financial history and status to determine the feasibility of granting credit.
• Foster a risk management culture that balances risk with potential rewards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Commerce (Finance) or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Credit Analyst.
• Excellent knowledge of record-keeping and analytical problem-solving.
• Fluency in both Swahili and English.
