Job Description

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness at Glovinos Grill & Chill. This role is essential to the safety and comfort of both staff and customers, focusing on the sanitization of the kitchen, dining, and public areas. The cleaner ensures that waste is disposed of correctly and that cleaning supplies are always available, supporting a professional and healthy environment for food service.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize the kitchen, dining areas, restrooms, and other public spaces
• Collect and dispose of waste and garbage following established safety protocols
• Restock cleaning supplies, soaps, and paper products as needed
• Perform deep-cleaning tasks on kitchen equipment and surfaces as scheduled
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately
• Ensure all cleaning chemicals are stored and handled safely

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a professional cleaning or janitorial role is an advantage
• High level of attention to detail and a hardworking attitude
• Ability to follow health and safety instructions accurately
• Physical stamina to manage cleaning tasks throughout the shift
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Basic understanding of hygiene standards in a food service environment
