Role Overview

RHNK is recruiting a seasoned Finance Director to provide strategic financial leadership and oversight of all accounting, budgeting, and compliance functions. The role ensures financial sustainability, integrity, and donor compliance across RHNK’s diverse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.
• Oversee grant and contract financial management.
• Ensure adherence to statutory and donor financial regulations.
• Manage internal controls, audits, and compliance systems.
• Guide strategic investment, risk management, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
• Supervise finance and HR teams and build organizational capacity.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management and the board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; Master’s degree preferred.
• CPA(K) or equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 10 years’ progressive experience in financial management (NGO sector preferred).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and donor reporting standards.
• Proficiency in ERP and accounting systems such as SAP or QuickBooks.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
