Role Overview

Softclans is seeking a Database Developer Intern fluent in Arabic to support database design, development, and optimization tasks within its IT department. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to enhance database performance and support ongoing system integration projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing new database objects including tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and data integration.
• Support data migration, transformation, and cleansing initiatives.
• Help integrate databases with internal systems and external applications.
• Participate in the creation of dashboards and reports for business teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide Arabic translation support where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT.
• Foundational knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle).
• Understanding of relational database design and normalization.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic.
• Eagerness to learn new database technologies.

Preferred Skills
– Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
– Exposure to reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
– Knowledge of a scripting language such as Python or Java.
