Key Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus and dietary requirements
- Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety
- Follow special diets as advised by clinical and nutrition teams Properly store food and manage kitchen inventory
- Clean kitchen equipment and work areas
- Comply with health, safety, and infection-control standards Support timely meal service across hospital units
Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Food Production /Culinary Arts preferred
- Previous experience as a cook, preferably in a
- hospital or institutional setting
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safet standards
- Ability to work shifts and under pressure
- Team-oriented and dependable
