Job Description
The Business Development Manager – Pensions is responsible for driving growth of pension assets and expanding institutional mandates at Nabo Capital. The role exists to lead commercial strategy for the pensions business, build strong relationships with trustees and sponsors, and position the firm as a trusted long-term investment partner. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines strategic sales execution with deep market engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow pension assets under management through new mandates and client acquisition
- Develop and execute business development strategies for the pensions segment
- Build and maintain relationships with pension trustees, sponsors, and consultants
- Lead proposal development, presentations, and mandate negotiations
- Monitor market trends and identify new pension opportunities
- Collaborate with investment and operations teams to deliver client solutions
- Represent the firm at industry forums and stakeholder engagements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Professional qualifications in pensions, finance, or investment management are an advantage
- Significant experience in pensions business development or institutional sales
- Strong understanding of pension regulations and market dynamics
- Proven track record of winning and managing pension mandates
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
