Business Development Manager
Job Overview
The Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth within the transport and logistics sector by expanding existing accounts and developing new client relationships. The role focuses on solution-based selling, pipeline management, and consistent achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and direct client engagement.
- Drive sales of transport and logistics solutions using a consultative approach.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including quotations, negotiations, and closures.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction by resolving client issues promptly.
- Conduct regular client visits to strengthen and retain relationships.
- Monitor industry trends, market activity, and competitor movements.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports.
- Uphold company service standards and policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing within Transport & Logistics.
- Proven Business Development or Account Management experience.
- Active and verifiable client portfolio (mandatory).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
