Role Overview

Absa is hiring a UI/UX Engineer to design, prototype, and implement user-friendly digital interfaces for its internal tools and client-facing applications. The role demands a blend of creativity, coding expertise, and customer-centric problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Build responsive web interfaces using Angular and TypeScript.
• Create prototypes and interactive designs using Figma or Adobe XD.
• Conduct user testing, accessibility reviews, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile development environments.
• Maintain and enhance design system libraries for consistency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and Git.
• Experience with Jest, Cypress, or Playwright for testing.
• Strong understanding of UX design principles and accessibility standards.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
