Job Description

The Travel Agent at Pesapal is responsible for driving business growth within the travel and hospitality sector by identifying and securing new customer segments. This role focuses on proactive sales generation, utilizing various digital and traditional outreach channels to promote the company’s travel solutions. The agent acts as a strategic advisor to clients, helping them navigate travel offerings while ensuring that the organization meets its revenue targets through effective prospecting and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential customers through proactive cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach
• Manage the end-to-end sales process from lead generation and prospecting to closing deals
• Develop tailored travel packages and solutions that meet the specific needs and budgets of diverse clients
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide regular updates on conversion rates and market feedback
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with corporate and individual clients to encourage repeat business
• Stay informed about industry trends, travel regulations, and competitor offerings to provide expert advice
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless booking experiences and high levels of customer satisfaction

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in travel sales, tour operations, or a similar commercial role
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets through proactive prospecting
• Strong proficiency in using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and travel booking platforms
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume sales pipeline effectively
• Deep knowledge of local and international travel destinations and hospitality trends
