Transient Line Technicians Amentum

Amentum is seeking qualified Transient Line Technicians in Kenya to assist the T-Line Production Superintendent with the ground handling and servicing of arriving and departing aircraft. This specialized aviation role requires a minimum of 2 years of general aircraft maintenance experience, working knowledge of FAA standard marshalling commands, and proficiency in English to adhere to all technical references.

Position Summary & Impact 🎯

The Transient Line Technicians are integral to ensuring the safe and efficient movement and servicing of aircraft on the ground. The role involves assisting the T-Line Production Superintendent with all ground handling and servicing tasks in strict accordance with applicable technical references. Personnel must be proficient in all ground handling procedures, including marshalling, making this a critical aviation maintenance job in Kenya.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

– Assist the T-Line Production Superintendent with ground handling and servicing of all arriving and departing aircraft.
– Ensure all servicing and handling activities are performed in accordance with applicable technical references.
– Understand and be able to proficiently perform FAA standard marshalling commands.
– Execute ground handling procedures for large body aircraft (preferred).
– Conduct general aircraft maintenance tasks as required.
– Maintain a current/valid driver’s license (US or International).
– Ensure clear and accurate verbal and written communication in English.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

– Mandatory Requirement: Minimum 2 years general aircraft maintenance experience
– Expertise: Must understand and be able to perform FAA standard marshalling commands.
– Experience: Experience with Large Body Aircraft is preferred.
– Skills: Fluent in English (verbal communication and written word).
– License: Must possess a current/valid driver’s license (US or International).
