Job Description

The Training and Recruitment Manager is a strategic leadership role focused on talent acquisition and capability development for Jubilee’s Retail Distribution channels. Reporting to the General Manager of Business Development, this role oversees the recruitment of relationship managers and institutional sales experts, while designing bespoke induction and continuous learning programs. The manager ensures that the salesforce is highly effective, compliant with financial regulations, and fully aligned with the organization’s high-performance culture and client-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute talent acquisition strategies to recruit top-tier sales and business development talent
• Develop and implement bespoke induction programs for new relationship managers and institutional sales teams
• Create continuous learning and capability development strategies to improve salesforce effectiveness
• Evaluate the impact of training programs on business growth and sales performance metrics
• Build strategic partnerships with professional networks and educational institutions to create a talent pipeline
• Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to ensure alignment of recruitment and training with institutional goals
• Monitor compliance with regulatory frameworks governing insurance and financial services training
• Manage workforce planning and stakeholder engagement across various distribution channels

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; an MBA is preferred
• 6–8 years of experience in talent acquisition and training, ideally within financial services or insurance
• Professional HR certification (CHRP, SHRM, CIPD) or Training certification (ATD, CPTM) is highly desirable
• Proven track record of developing high-performing sales teams in the wealth management or retail sector
• Expert skills in stakeholder management and organizational development
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing the Kenyan insurance industry
