Technical Service Specialist
Role Overview
This role is ideal for a food science professional passionate about innovation, formulation, and customer-facing technical solutions. As Technical Service Specialist, you will act as the technical bridge between customers, sales teams, and global supplier partners, transforming concepts into market-ready food solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Sales Support
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, providing formulation and troubleshooting support
- Collaborate with sales teams to track and grow projects through structured pipelines
Laboratory & Product Development
- Conduct laboratory trials and prototype development aligned with customer needs
- Build and maintain a formulation and prototype library for food applications
- Translate bench work findings into actionable technical documentation
Training, Collaboration & Lab Management
- Deliver technical training sessions to customers and internal teams
- Participate in global technical teams and knowledge-sharing initiatives
- Maintain laboratory equipment, safety standards, and housekeeping
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Food Science or a related discipline
- 3–5 years’ experience in Food New Product Development
- Strong formulation and food application expertise
- Proficiency in digital tools such as Salesforce or similar systems
- Excellent communication skills and strong commercial awareness
