Stores Supervisor
Role Overview
The Stores Supervisor is responsible for overseeing store operations, inventory control, and equipment management within an events management environment. The role focuses on asset accountability, team supervision, and compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage store operations and inventory control systems
- Coordinate event loading, dispatch, returns, and equipment handling
- Supervise store staff and manage casual labour teams
- Ensure proper maintenance and care of equipment and assets
- Enforce health, safety, and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reports
- Coordinate logistics, reporting, and operational accountability
- Support event schedules including weekends and public holidays
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or logistics supervision
- Diploma or Certificate in Stores Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field is an advantage
- NYS training and experience is a strong added advantage
- Strong understanding of inventory control and asset management
- Physically fit and comfortable in a hands-on environment
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
- Basic computer literacy
