Role Overview

The Sourcing Category Specialist will oversee procurement operations, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services while upholding compliance and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead tendering, contract negotiation, and supplier management for assigned categories.
• Analyze market trends and benchmark pricing for competitive advantage.
• Implement best practices for category sourcing and supplier evaluation.
• Maintain supplier performance reports and service level reviews.
• Ensure procurement compliance with KISM and CBK guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Business.
• Valid KISM Practicing License required.
• Membership with CIPS or KISM preferred.
• At least 3 years’ procurement experience in a large organization.
• Strong negotiation, data analysis, and stakeholder management skills.
