Senior UX Designer, Gaming Experiences
Role Overview
The Senior UX Designer, Gaming Experiences is responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and scalable user experiences for Google’s gaming products. The role focuses on user-centered design, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering high-quality interaction design solutions that serve users at global scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support complex, multi-dimensional gaming experiences
- Apply user-centered design principles to deliver high standards of design craft and usability
- Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models across gaming products
- Manage stakeholder relationships while balancing multiple work streams and priorities
- Contribute to cohesive design systems and patterns across gaming platforms
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative design culture
- Build strong relationships with designers, engineers, and product managers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of six (6) years’ experience in UX or interaction design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating conversation design and UX design expertise
- Experience leading design projects in complex, cross-functional environments
- Experience designing consumer products at scale, preferably within gaming
- Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field is an advantage
