Job Description

The Senior Technician provides strategic leadership to the Maintenance Team, overseeing the technical support, troubleshooting, and fault resolution of technology products for clients nationwide. This role involves managing maintenance systems and projects within strict budgets and timelines while ensuring maximum team productivity. The incumbent acts as a key quality controller, reviewing maintenance cycles and producing critical documentation such as Job Cards and BoQs to improve operational performance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the maintenance team and manage functions within agreed budgets and standards
• Implement maintenance strategies and policies to enhance overall operational performance
• Direct and schedule maintenance activities to eliminate repeat work and unfulfilled tasks
• Review quality assurance reports and modify maintenance activities based on performance data
• Produce essential documentation including Job Cards, Training Manuals, BoQ, and BoM reports
• Maintain accurate records of machines and analyze them for cost management initiatives
• Engage in continuous improvement through technical workgroups and periodic KPI reviews
• Coordinate with the Installation Manager to develop comprehensive preventative maintenance plans

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, ICT Security, or a related field
• Higher Diploma or Diploma in Design Technology, Engineering, or Risk Management
• Minimum of 8 years of maintenance experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role
• In-depth knowledge of physical and electronic security systems (Alarms, CCTV, Fire Detection, BMS)
• Proven experience in project implementation and management within the technical services sector
• Proficiency in documentation and reporting for sales order reconciliation
