Role Overview

TDB seeks a Senior Strategic Partnerships Officer to strengthen donor relations and mobilize funding for its Trade and Development Fund (TDF). The role involves strategy formulation, partner engagement, and fundraising to secure concessional finance and build impactful collaborations.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and execute the Fund’s resource-mobilization strategy.
• Identify and engage bilateral, multilateral, and philanthropic funding partners.
• Lead fundraising efforts and prepare proposals, concept notes, and budgets.
• Represent TDB at international meetings and donor consultations.
• Track global financing trends and develop strategic partnership frameworks.
• Coordinate stakeholder management and reporting for donor programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in resource mobilization and partnership building.
• Proven record in fundraising for development finance organizations.
• Strong knowledge of donor environments and global financial systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual (English/French/Portuguese) preferred.
