Job Description
Nutrition International is looking for a Senior Consortium and Project Director to lead a large-scale Maternal Nutrition Project in Africa. This role is for an inclusive leader with deep experience in public health, capable of managing multi-country programs and fostering an innovative team environment across regional and global offices.
Role Overview
You will lead the design and execution of project deliverables, co-creating annual workplans with government stakeholders. You will provide full financial and grant oversight while driving project-level advocacy to raise the organization’s technical profile in international forums.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the timely execution of activities across a multi-country, $30M+ portfolio.
- Build collaborative relationships with implementing partners and key government officials.
- Lead project learning reviews to ensure data-driven decision-making.
- Provide high-level financial oversight, including budget management and cash flow monitoring.
- Drive advocacy and communications strategies in regional and global working groups.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, or International Development.
- At least 15 years of experience in health or development programming, with senior leadership in Africa.
- Proven track record in managing complex grants from institutional and private donors.
- Strong background in partnership building and donor stewardship.
