Senior Manager, Settlements, Accounting & Control

Job Overview

The Senior Manager leads settlements, accounting, and control functions to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant financial market operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee foreign and domestic payments and settlements
• Manage reconciliations, custody services, and cash management
• Ensure integration with SWIFT, RTGS, and Oracle systems
• Oversee government securities payments and reconciliations
• Support budgeting, audits, and internal controls
• Lead and manage staff performance and capacity building

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Banking
• Professional qualification (ICPAK or equivalent)
• Master’s degree is an added advantage
• Minimum 10 years’ experience (3 at supervisory level)
• Strong understanding of financial markets and risk management
