Senior Asset Management and Disposal Officer (Senior Business Analyst 2)
Role Overview
This role is designed for a detail-driven professional to lead fixed asset accountability, control, and disposal processes. The position plays a critical advisory role in ensuring full compliance with public procurement and asset disposal regulations while safeguarding institutional assets.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Accountability & Control
- Supervise physical tagging of all new assets upon receipt
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records across all CBK locations
- Ensure proper documentation of asset movement and transfers
- Act as custodian of asset tags, ensuring security and accountability
Compliance & Coordination
- Serve as the central coordination point for Asset Liaison Offices
- Ensure asset management activities comply with PPADA 2015 and internal policies
- Provide technical guidance on asset control and verification exercises
Asset Disposal Execution
- Manage secure custody of obsolete and unusable assets pending disposal
- Prepare asset lots and submission reports for the Disposal Committee
- Coordinate public viewing and disposal exercises
- Prepare post-disposal reports to facilitate asset retirement from financial records
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing & Supplies, or equivalent
- Associate Member of KISM or eligible for membership
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in asset logistics, control, or inventory management
- Proficiency in ERP or asset management systems
