Senior Asset Management and Disposal Officer (Senior Business Analyst 2)

Role Overview

This role is designed for a detail-driven professional to lead fixed asset accountability, control, and disposal processes. The position plays a critical advisory role in ensuring full compliance with public procurement and asset disposal regulations while safeguarding institutional assets.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Accountability & Control

• Supervise physical tagging of all new assets upon receipt
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records across all CBK locations
• Ensure proper documentation of asset movement and transfers
• Act as custodian of asset tags, ensuring security and accountability

Compliance & Coordination

• Serve as the central coordination point for Asset Liaison Offices
• Ensure asset management activities comply with PPADA 2015 and internal policies
• Provide technical guidance on asset control and verification exercises

Asset Disposal Execution

• Manage secure custody of obsolete and unusable assets pending disposal
• Prepare asset lots and submission reports for the Disposal Committee
• Coordinate public viewing and disposal exercises
• Prepare post-disposal reports to facilitate asset retirement from financial records

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing & Supplies, or equivalent
• Associate Member of KISM or eligible for membership
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in asset logistics, control, or inventory management
• Proficiency in ERP or asset management systems
