Sales Head – Africa
Role Overview
Do you have the deep industry connections needed to scale an international sports brand across the African continent? We are looking for a leader who knows the ins and outs of the distribution landscape and feels right at home navigating Multi-Brand Outlets (MBOs) and Shop-in-Shop (SIS) formats. In this role, you’ll be the face of our sales strategy, building lasting relationships with partners and ensuring our footwear and gear are seen and bought in every major market. Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead our distribution strategy, finding and onboarding the best regional partners.
- Build our presence in top-tier MBOs by negotiating pricing, margins, and the perfect product mix.
- Oversee the end-to-end setup of SIS models, from mall negotiations to fixture installations.
- Mentor your team of sales executives and merchandisers to hit their targets and grow professionally.
- Keep a pulse on the market by visiting stores frequently and gathering feedback from the ground.
- Use sales data to spot trends, manage stock aging, and identify our next big growth hub.
Qualifications
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
- You bring 10+ years of experience, ideally within the sports apparel or equipment industry.
- You have an extensive network of contacts within the African retail and distribution ecosystem.
- You have a proven history of hitting ambitious sales revenue and growth targets.
- You are ready and willing to travel frequently across the continent.
